Dear Resident / Neighbour,
We live in interesting times, and Kinsale has always been an interesting and unique place to live, work, study and play. Since the 70's tourists have come from around the world to sample our "gourmet capital" reputation, the population has mushroomed in both number (insert number from census) and diversity, and much has changed; mostly for the good.

Research carried out earlier this summer by Kinsale Chamber of Tourism supported by Failte Ireland tells us that even visitors can discern the amazing sense of community that exists here, and should be treasured. But that's not to say as residents we don't face challenges, and harbour thoughts about how to improve things.

With that in mind, the Chamber of Tourism plus others, under the new title of Inspired By Kinsale is inviting everyone (all residents of the town) to contribute to this public survey, the results of which will be shared, and used for the benefit of all, as we try and match the abundant talent and resources we have, with the various initiatives and projects that we, as a community, believe to be of most benefit.

The results will be reviewed and shared before the end of November.

After that anyone interested in a particular project will be able to volunteer to join one of a series of small groups working together to turn these ideas into reality. To express an interest in joining groups, please email me on [email protected]
